Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is slightly better than the Acer Iconia W510, with a general score of 62.7 against 57.5. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works with Android 4.0 operating system, and Acer Iconia W510 works with Windows 8 operating system. Despite being the best portable tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is an a little thicker and a little bit heavier portable tablet than Acer Iconia W510.
Acer Iconia W510 features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a faster GPU running at 533 MHz and 1 GB more RAM. The Acer Iconia W510 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 feature really similar displays, and although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a just a bit inferior pixels count in each inch in the screen and a little lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, they both have a screen of the same size.
Acer Iconia W510 features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Acer Iconia W510 also has 32 GB internal memory. The Acer Iconia W510 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W510. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia W510, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
