The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a global score of 60.8, which is slightly better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 overall score. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 operating system, while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 operating system. Even though Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Acer Iconia W510 were only released 8 months apart, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus construction is incredibly lighter but also thicker than Acer Iconia W510.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a little sharper display than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixel number in each inch in the screen. The Acer Iconia W510 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Acer Iconia W510 also has 1 GB more RAM and an additional graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's storage for games and applications is just as good as the Acer Iconia W510 one, both have a SD card slot that supports up to 64 GB and equal internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features just a little better battery performance than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 13 percent larger battery size.
Acer Iconia W510 captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a way higher video definition and a camera with a lot higher 8 MP resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, else you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia W510, letting go a couple features and specs.
