Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia W510's global score of 57.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 operating system, while Acer Iconia W510 counts with Windows 8 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an older and way thicker tablet than Acer Iconia W510, but Samsung managed to make it incredibly lighter anyway.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has an extra GPU, a larger number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM memory. Acer Iconia W510 and Samsung Galaxy Tab have similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a way worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Acer Iconia W510 has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both have equal 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab counts with a bit better battery life than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 13% bigger battery size. Acer Iconia W510 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot better video resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is more expensive than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W510. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia W510, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
