Comparison review
Asus VivoTab RT is just a bit better than Acer Iconia W511, getting a general score of 61 against 59.5. The Asus VivoTab RT construction is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than the Acer Iconia W511. Both devices we are comparing come with Windows OS, but Asus VivoTab RT has RT version and Acer Iconia W511 has Windows 8 Pro, offering some extra features.
Acer Iconia W511 features a little bit better processing power than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has 2 lesser cores (but faster), they both have 2 GB of RAM memory. The Acer Iconia W511 features a bit better looking screen than Asus VivoTab RT. Both of them have the same exact 768 x 1366 resolution, a display of the same size and the same display pixels density.
Asus VivoTab RT captures better videos and photos than Acer Iconia W511. Both of them have a back-facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution. The Acer Iconia W511 has a superior storage for applications and games than Asus VivoTab RT. Both have the same internal memory capacity. The Acer Iconia W511 counts with a much longer battery life than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W511, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W511. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Asus VivoTab RT, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia W511, letting go a couple specifications.
