IPad 2 has an overall score of 62.1, which is just a bit better than the Acer Predator 8's score of 57.7. IPad 2's design has the same thickness than the Acer Predator 8, but it's extremely heavier. IPad 2 has iOS 7.x operating system, while Acer Predator 8 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Acer Predator 8 features a more vivid display than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher screen pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Acer Predator 8 has a little bit better memory for apps and games than Apple iPad 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Acer Predator 8 has a bit superior processing unit than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster) and 1,5 GB more RAM memory. IPad 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Acer Predator 8, although it has a back facing camera with a much lower 0.7 mega-pixels resolution.
The iPad 2 counts with a much longer battery duration than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 57% more battery size.
Although iPad 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Predator 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPad 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Acer Predator 8, giving up some features and specs.
