Comparison review
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a general score of 62.3, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's general score of 60.8. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a a little bit lighter and thinner tablet than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has the newer 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing lots of additional features and performance enhancements.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features just a bit better looking screen than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each inch in the screen.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a little faster processing unit than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a larger number of cores and a faster GPU working at 700 megahertz.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a much better camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a really longer battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specifications.
