The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 general score. Despite being the best tablet device we compare here, Galaxy Note 8.0's body is a little bit heavier and a bit thicker than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android OS, but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a greater pixels density. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a worse GPU running at 700 megahertz, and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots better photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. They have a camera with a 5 megapixels. Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much better memory to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit longer battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 4060mAh.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a little more than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
