Comparison review
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab, getting a general score of 62.3 against 58.6. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a lighter and much thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a more recent 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, counting with some additional features and optimized performance.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM, an additional GPU and a higher number of cores. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab, letting go a couple specs and features.
