The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is much better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, getting a score of 60.1 against 53.4. The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is a a little thinner and just a little bit lighter device than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has the newer 5.0 version and Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has Android 4.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and improved performance.
Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD features just a bit better screen than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD also counts with a little more pixels per display inch. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has much more storage to install applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also has 8 GB more internal memory.
Lenovo TAB 2 A8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit, and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a larger number of cores (although slower) and a 64-bits processing unit.
