Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a general score of 62.7, which is better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's general score of 53.4. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the previous 4.0 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD has Android 4.1. Although it's the best in this review, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a noticeably heavier and just a little thicker tablet than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280px resolution, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a slightly bigger memory for apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and 2 cpu cores, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD also has a faster 1.06 gigahertz graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, because it has a lot more mega-pixels camera.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 costs a lot more than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
