Comparison review

Google Nexus 7 is better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, with a 59.3 score against 53.4. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 has the newer 5.1 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1, so it provides the user some nice extra features. The Google Nexus 7 body is a bit thicker but much lighter than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and both were released only a couple of months apart.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Google Nexus 7, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (but faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also counts with a better graphics co-processor running at 1064 megahertz.

The Google Nexus 7 features a sharper screen than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Nexus 7 also has a slightly higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a little more pixels per inch in the screen. Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD captures much clearer pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7.

Google Nexus 7 has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. Google Nexus 7 counts with a little better battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has 4325mAh of battery capacity.

Google Nexus 7 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
