The HTC Flyer has a general score of 58.7, which is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD's overall score of 53.4. HTC Flyer's body is a little bit lighter than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, but it's a lot thicker and was released a little bit over a year before. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but HTC Flyer has an older 3.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1 version.

Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD features a superior hardware performance than HTC Flyer, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also has a faster graphics co-processor and 1 more CPU cores.
