Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is better than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD's overall score of 53.4. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is an older and just a bit thicker portable tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, but Samsung was able to make it way lighter anyway. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a newer 4.1.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has Android 4.1 version.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB of RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also has an extra GPU. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD also has a just a bit greater count of pixels in each display inch and a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1024px.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus captures a bit better photographs and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 4150mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 8 HD, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
