The Asus VivoTab Smart has a general score of 58.7, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's general score of 54.8. The Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 OS, while Amazon Fire HD 7 comes with Android 4.4 OS. Asus VivoTab Smart's design is way heavier but just a bit thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 7.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a little bit better performance than Amazon Fire HD 7, because although it has lesser cores , it also counts with more RAM and a graphics co-processor. The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a brighter display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels count in each screen inch.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has more internal storage. If you want to save some money, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 7, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
