Comparison review

The Google Nexus 10 is way better than Amazon Fire HD 7, having a general score of 68.1 against 54.8. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS, but Google Nexus 10 has a more recent 5.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user some nice extra features and performance enhancements. The Google Nexus 10 is an older and noticeably heavier tablet device than the Amazon Fire HD 7, but Google managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway.

Google Nexus 10 has a slightly better display than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a greater screen pixel density and a really bigger display. The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with just a little better performance than Google Nexus 10, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although slower).

Google Nexus 10 features a lot better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Google Nexus 10 also has a back camera with a much better 5 megapixels resolution. Google Nexus 10 has much more storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
