Comparison review

The Google Nexus 7 has a general score of 59.3, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but Google Nexus 7 has a newer 5.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, giving some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Even though the Google Nexus 7 is a lot older and a little bit heavier than Amazon Fire HD 7, it's construction is still a little bit thinner.

Amazon Fire HD 7 has a little more vivid display than Google Nexus 7. Both have the same count of pixels in each display inch, a display with the same size and an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px. Google Nexus 7 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has more internal storage.

Google Nexus 7 features a bit better CPU than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM and 4 processing cores, the Google Nexus 7 also has a graphics co-processor. Amazon Fire HD 7 captures way better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7. Google Nexus 7 features a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 7.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Google Nexus 7 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
