LG G Pad 8.0 is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 7, having a 58.6 score against 54.8. The LG G Pad 8.0 design is a little bit thinner but a little heavier than Amazon Fire HD 7. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the LG G Pad 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.

LG G Pad 8.0 and Amazon Fire HD 7 have extremely similar CPUs, and although the LG G Pad 8.0 has a GPU, they both have a 1 GB RAM and a Quad-Core processor. The Amazon Fire HD 7 has a little sharper screen than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a bit better pixels count in each inch in the display.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a camera in the back with a way better resolution. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB.

The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 7.
