Comparison review
LG G Pad X 8.3 has a score of 63.8, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 global score. Even though the LG G Pad X 8.3 and the Amazon Fire HD 7 were released with only 8 months difference, the LG G Pad X 8.3 construction is somewhat thinner but also a little bit heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 7. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4, providing you a couple additional features.
LG G Pad X 8.3 has a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 1 GB more RAM and more 1.5 gigahertz processing cores. Amazon Fire HD 7 features a little more vivid display than LG G Pad X 8.3, although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a little bit smaller screen.
LG G Pad X 8.3 features a much bigger memory for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 7.
LG G Pad X 8.3 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a lot better 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
