The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a 75.8 score against 54.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older and noticeably heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 7, but Samsung could make it much thinner anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it counts with some additional features and performance tweaks.
