Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a 75.8 score against 54.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older and noticeably heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 7, but Samsung could make it much thinner anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it counts with some additional features and performance tweaks.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a superior processing power than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 2 GB more RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a little more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a much larger screen, a better pixels quantity per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
