The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 overall score. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives lots of additional features and enhanced performance. Galaxy Note 8.0 is an older and just a little bit heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HD 7, but Samsung was able to build it thinner anyway.
