Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, getting a 62.7 score against 54.8. Although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is older and way heavier than Amazon Fire HD 7, it's body is still just a bit thinner. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the older 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Amazon Fire HD 7, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an inferior number of cores, and they both have 1 GB of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
