Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 7, having a 64.8 score against 54.8. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an much older portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 7, but it is just a little bit lighter and incredibly thinner anyway.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster). The Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a really longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 7. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a camera with way more megapixels.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 7, letting go a couple specs and features.
