Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a general score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 7's score of 54.8. Even though Galaxy Tab 8.9 is incredibly older and much heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 7, it's design is still thinner. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an older 3.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version.
The Amazon Fire HD 7 has a more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores. Amazon Fire HD 7 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
