Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a score of 58.8, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 score. Despite of the fact Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is extremely older and noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 7, it's design is still somewhat thinner. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has older 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4.

Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a greater screen pixel density. The Amazon Fire HD 7 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more cpu cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE captures a little bit better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a camera with way more megapixels. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Amazon Fire HD 7's one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 7.
