Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a score of 68.3, which is a lot better than Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 score. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4 version, giving you a couple additional features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a much newer and thinner portable tablet than Amazon Fire HD 7, although it is also just a little heavier.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 has a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 400 GB and more internal storage.

The Amazon Fire HD 7 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 7. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a way better resolution camera.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) costs more money than Amazon Fire HD 7, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
