Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 7's 54.8 score. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab has an older 2.3.3 version and Amazon Fire HD 7 has Android 4.4. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is an a lot older, heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 7.

Amazon Fire HD 7 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Amazon Fire HD 7 also has a better pixel amount per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px. Samsung Galaxy Tab has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 7, because it has 32 GB internal memory.

Amazon Fire HD 7 counts with a quite better processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores and 512 MB more RAM. Galaxy Tab features a superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 7, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab also has a lot better 3 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 7.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
