Comparison review
IPad 3 is a lot better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, having a score of 71.1 against 54.1. The iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The iPad 3 is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it must be told that it is also a notably older, somewhat thicker and heavier device.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 features a bit faster CPU than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a larger number of cores. The iPad 3 counts with a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a bigger display and a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
IPad 3 takes much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8. They have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back facing camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Apple iPad 3 has a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.
The iPad 3 features a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.
Apple iPad 3 costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
