Comparison review
The iPad Air 2 has an overall score of 79.3, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 overall score. Although iPad Air 2 is older and incredibly heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8, it's design is still notably thinner. IPad Air 2 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
The iPad Air 2 has a lot better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a larger screen, a way better resolution of 2048 x 1536px and a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display. IPad Air 2 counts with a little faster processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has 3 less 1.5 gigahertz cpu cores, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and more RAM.
Apple iPad Air 2 features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. IPad Air 2 counts with a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8. The Apple iPad Air 2 features a way better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Apple iPad Air 2 also has a much higher 8 megapixels resolution camera.
Apple iPad Air 2 costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
