Even when the iPod touch 6th generation and the Amazon Fire HD 8 were only released 3 months apart, the iPod touch 6th generation is much lighter and way thinner. IPod touch 6th generation counts with iOS 12.x operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
