Comparison review

The Asus VivoTab RT has a score of 61, which is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 score. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with Windows RT operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must highlight that it's also an a lot older, just a little thicker and noticeably heavier tablet.

Amazon Fire HD 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit. Asus VivoTab RT features a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a quite better 768 x 1366 resolution and a bigger display.

The Asus VivoTab RT takes much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a back-facing camera with a way better 8 mega pixels resolution. The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Asus VivoTab RT's battery performance is very similar to Amazon Fire HD 8's battery lifetime.

Asus VivoTab RT costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
