The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a global score of 72.7, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8's general score of 54.1. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad X2 has the older 5.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Huawei MediaPad X2 body is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8, although they were released only 6 months apart.

Huawei MediaPad X2 features a better performing processor than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a greater number of cores, a 64 bits processor and a larger amount of RAM. Huawei MediaPad X2 features a way better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a way higher display density.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 takes way better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a lot higher 13 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.

Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
