Comparison review

The LG G Pad 10.1 is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, with a 58.4 score against 54.1. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad 10.1 has an older 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Even being the best device in this review, LG G Pad 10.1 is a thicker and incredibly heavier device than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The LG G Pad 10.1 and Amazon Fire HD 8 both feature similar processors, and although the LG G Pad 10.1 has a graphics processor, they both have 4 processing cores and a 1 GB RAM. The LG G Pad 10.1 features a little bit better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little bit worse pixel quantity per inch in the screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the LG G Pad 10.1 also counts with a larger display.

LG G Pad 10.1 captures clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both of them have a camera with a 5 mega pixels resolution. The Amazon Fire HD 8 features a lot bigger memory for apps and games than LG G Pad 10.1. They have the same 16 GB internal memory. The LG G Pad 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The LG G Pad 10.1 costs more money than Amazon Fire HD 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
