Comparison review

LG G Pad X 8.3 is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a overall score of 63.8 against 54.1. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, providing the user some additional features. Despite being the best in our current comparison, we must note that it's also a somewhat thicker and heavier device.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has a quite bigger screen, a greater screen density and a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920px. LG G Pad X 8.3 features a little bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8, because it has more 1.5 GHz cores and a higher amount of RAM.

LG G Pad X 8.3 shoots greater photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a much better resolution back-facing camera. The Amazon Fire HD 8 and the LG G Pad X 8.3 have incredibly similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have the same 16 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB.

LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a much longer battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8.
