Comparison review

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has an overall score of 60.4, which is better than Amazon Fire HD 8's overall score of 54.1. These devices come with Android operating system, but Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has an older 3.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison review, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition is a much older, heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a just a little worse pixel number per screen inch, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280px resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a quite larger display. The Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster).

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition takes a lot better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution camera in the back. Amazon Fire HD 8 counts with a greater memory to install applications and games than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8.
