Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8's 54.1 global score. Despite being the best we compare here, Galaxy Note 8.0 is an a lot older, a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker device than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has the older 4.4.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Amazon Fire HD 8, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics co-processor and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both of them have a display of the same size, the same display density and exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 captures way better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same (HD) video definition.
