Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's score of 54.1. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a better tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8, we must note that it is also notably older, extremely thicker and heavier. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an older 4.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a little bit better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024, a quite smaller display and a quite worse display pixels density. The Amazon Fire HD 8 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal memory.

Amazon Fire HD 8 features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also counts with more cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels and a way worse (HD) video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8.

Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a great choice.
