Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a general score of 66.2, which is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's general score of 54.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a better tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8, it must be noted that it's also an older, just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier tablet. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8. Both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, a display with the same size and the same quantity of pixels in each screen inch. Amazon Fire HD 8 and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 count with very similar processors, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a graphics co-processor and more RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core CPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a much worse video quality and a camera in the back with lot less MP. The Amazon Fire HD 8 features a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
