Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is better than the Amazon Fire HD 8, getting a 60.8 score against 54.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is an a lot older, just a little bit heavier and much thicker tablet device than the Amazon Fire HD 8. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the previous 4.1.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8, although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, a quite smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with more memory for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
