Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a global score of 58.8, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 8's global score of 54.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's design is a lot older, thicker and heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has 4.0 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a brighter display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a little lower screen pixel density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little bit larger display.
