IPad Air is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), with a general score of 77.9 against 58.6. Although iPad Air is way older and extremely heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is still thinner. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
The Apple iPad Air counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has an inferior number of cores and they are also slower and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processor.
