Comparison review
IPad 4 is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, with a 66.9 score against 65.1. IPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system. Even being the best portable tablet in this review, the iPad 4 design is way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a little bit better display than iPad 4, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM.
Apple iPad 4 has a superior camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a worse (Full HD) video quality, a lot less mega pixels camera in the back and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments. IPad 4 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 16 GB more internal memory.
Apple iPad 4's battery life is just as good as the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 one.
IPad 4 not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also cheaper than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
