Comparison review
The iPad Air has a general score of 77.9, which is much better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 overall score. IPad Air's body has the same thickness than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it's notably heavier. IPad Air comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with Android 4.4 OS. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit better looking display than iPad Air, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a little bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
IPad Air has a superior storage for games and applications than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal memory. IPad Air counts with a little faster processor than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 2 less and slower CPU cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics processor.
The iPad Air features a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Apple iPad Air captures much better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a tinier aperture, a camera with a way lower 5 megapixels resolution and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
