Comparison review
IPad mini has a general score of 68.1, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's global score of 67.9. IPad mini is a somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner tablet than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The iPad mini works with iOS 8.x operating system, and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 comes with Android 4.4 operating system.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a quite better performance than iPad mini, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more cores. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much sharper display than Apple iPad mini, because it has a lot better pixel density, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a little bigger screen.
The iPad mini has a much better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a worse video resolution, a smaller camera aperture and a much worse 5 MP resolution back camera. The iPad mini features as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Apple iPad mini has a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the iPad mini is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
