BlackBerry PlayBook has an overall score of 52, which is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7's global score of 49.6. The BlackBerry PlayBook has BlackBerry Tablet OS operating system, while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 works with Android 4.0 operating system. The BlackBerry PlayBook design is just a little bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7, but it is a bit heavier and was released many years before.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 has a bit more vivid display than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 also has a better resolution of 800 x 1280px and a better pixel quantity in each screen inch. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than BlackBerry PlayBook, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 also has a faster graphics processor working at 384 megahertz.

BlackBerry PlayBook captures a lot better photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7.
