Comparison review

The Galaxy Player 4.2 is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7, getting a 53.1 score against 49.6. Galaxy Player 4.2's body is way lighter and somewhat thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Player 4.2 has older 2.3.5 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 has Android 4.0 version.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2, because it has a GPU, 512 MB more RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Player 4.2, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a lot better 800 x 1280px resolution and a lot bigger screen.

The Galaxy Player 4.2 captures way better videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7.
