HTC Flyer has an overall score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's global score of 55.7. Even though HTC Flyer is older and thicker than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, it's body is still a lot lighter. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but HTC Flyer has an older 3.2 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE counts with just a little better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE also has a better GPU running at 384 megahertz and a greater number of 1.5 GHz cores.
