LG G Pad X 8.3 has a global score of 63.8, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's score of 55.7. LG G Pad X 8.3's design is much newer, incredibly lighter and a little thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE. These tablets use Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it provides lots of additional features.

LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a bit better CPU than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of 1.5 GHz cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has a bit sharper display than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a just a little lower pixels number per screen inch, it also counts with a little higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little larger screen.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.
