Galaxy Tab S8 has an overall score of 76.7, which is a lot better than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE's global score of 55.7. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S8 has a more recent 13 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab S8 is a notably newer tablet, and it's also way thinner and lighter than Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 4G LTE has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a little inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch, a bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 1200 x 1920.
