Comparison review
The Apple iPad 4 is much better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a global score of 70.8 against 60.8. The Apple iPad 4 comes with iOS 7.x OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 comes with Android 4.2.2 OS. Even being the best device in this comparison, Apple iPad 4 is a a bit thicker and noticeably heavier device than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little bit better hardware performance than iPad 4, because it has a much better 450 MHz graphics processor, more RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPad 4, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1200 x 1920px, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The iPad 4 shoots much better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The iPad 4 has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and iPad 4 both feature quite similar battery performance.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the iPad 4, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specs and features.
