IPad mini 3 is way better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a score of 77.5 against 60.8. The iPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x OS, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 comes with Android 4.2.2 OS. IPad mini 3 is a newer and thinner tablet device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it is just a little bit heavier.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad mini 3, because although it has a worse graphics processor and a 32 bits processor against 64-bits, it also counts with 2 more cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a slightly better screen than iPad mini 3, although it has a little smaller screen, a just a little lower count of pixels per inch in the display and a bit lower resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
